Richmond, Depler named students of the month
Amber Richmond and Adam Depler have been named students of the month at Marion High School.
A senior at MHS, Amber has kept busy during her four years with sports and various activities. Currently, she is a member of the girls' basketball squad and competed on the volleyball team, for which she received league honorable mention. She also has been a member of the track team and played softball.
Amber has been involved in band, jazz band, and choir, FEA, stuco, National Honor Society, and student leadership group.
She is a member of Eastmoor United Methodist Church and is involved with the youth group.
Amber is the daughter of Rodney and Diane Richmond of Marion. She has one sister, Erin, a sophomore.
A junior at MHS, Adam has been involved with sporting programs while in high school. He is a returning member of the wrestling squad, was on the football team, and participates in track. During the summer he plays men's softball.
Besides sports, he's been involved in FFA , the Boy Scouts, and 4-H.
Adam is the son of Adam and Donna Depler of Florence. He has two siblings, Desire and Areil.
