Ross, Taylor are students of the month

Marion High School staff have selected Tacy Taylor and Riley Ross as students of the month for December.

Taylor has been active for three years in FFA, serving as an officer, and is a three-year member of the school improvement council. She has been active in volleyball, softball, and cross country, and has been a member of the debate team. Taylor has been on the honor roll three years, and has served with the BIGS in School program for two years.

Outside of school, Taylor has been involved with 4-H for eight years, and is currently employed at Marion Pizza Hut.

Taylor is the daughter of Todd and Robin Taylor, Marion, and has a sister, Jessie.

Ross, a three-year honor roll designee, has participated four years in FFA, serving one year as secretary. He has acted in musicals for three years, and melodramas for two years. Ross has also been a member of the forensics team, as well as Singers. He has played football for four seasons, and has chalked up two seasons with the wrestling team.

In his spare time, Ross works at Webster's Auto Service, Marion.

Ross is the son of Wallace and Kim Ross, and Doug and Autumn Hansen, all of Marion. Ross' siblings include Roxann and Royce Ross, and Jacob and Christian Czarnowsky.
