Roy Franta
Roy J. Franta, 79, of Havre de Grace, Md., died March 13, 2007.
Born in Marion, he was the son of Michael and Mary (Dvorak) Franta.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
For 28 years, he was CEO of Blue Diamond Trucking Company, Baltimore, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Leonard and Richard.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Mary (Kuchinski) Franta of Havre de Grace, Md.; three sons, Alan Franta of Fallston, Mod., James Franta of Glenville, Pa., and Thomas Franta of Front Royal, Va.; daughter, Lester Franta of El Dorado; sister, Roseann Bolinger of Wichita; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
