Ruth Bredemeier
Ruth E. Bredemeier, 89, died March 5, 2005, at Marion Manor.
Born June 25, 1915, at Washington, Pa., she was the daughter of Waldo and Pearl (Dunn) Rathbone.
She was a homemaker and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She was married to William Hess Sr., who died in the early 1960s.
She married Norman Bredemeier. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She also was preceded in death by a son, William Hess Jr.; and a grandson, Donny Hess Jr.
Survivors include a son, Don Hess of Marion; a daughter, Patricia Sarkett of Daisy Town, Pa.; two sisters, Shirley Winter of Hillsboro and Christine Livingston of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Sherfy officiating.
Burial was in Marion Cemetery.
A memorial fund was established with the church.
