— Payroll and accounts payable totaling $646,236 were approved.

— General fund money was used to cover ambulance department's expenses because sufficient revenue had not been received to cover expenses, county clerk Carol Maggard said.

The amount used will be returned to the general fund when the department receives its tax distribution in January, Maggard said.

— Jim Herzet, acting road and bridge superintendent, requested and received a 10-minute executive session with the commission to discuss personnel. Phil Bowan, acting road superintendent, also was in attendance.

The meeting reconvened with no decisions.

— Wetta signed off on changes on the county's tax roll. Various reasons were noted for the changes which included tax appeals, tax exemptions, and some additions to the tax roll.

A total of $8,957 was reduced from the county's tax revenue.

— Maggard reported a clerical error had been made on a conditional use permit resolution for a commercial feedlot. It was published in the Marion County Record correctly, Maggard said. Commission chairman Leroy Wetta signed an original corrected document.

— Maggard requested and received a 10-minute executive session with the commission to discuss personnel. When the meeting reconvened, the commission approved an application for family medical leave of absence for an employee.

— Special auto expenses for December were $1,191, Maggard reported for treasurer Jeannine Bateman.

— The commission was invited to attend a meeting Tuesday with Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks regarding the state taking over fish sales, fee collection, and monitoring cash flow at Marion County Park & Lake.
