Sassy Senior Center: We re ready for another mystery jigsaw puzzle

By JANET BRYANT

Senior center reporter

We've put together another mystery puzzle, "B is for Bullet" and in another day or so will know who committed the crime. The characters have French names, mostly wines, plus Al La Cart. Keith Holtsclaw and Larry Blosser wouldn't leave Monday until they competed the jigsaw puzzle. If anyone has another of these mystery puzzles, would you let us put it together here?

We had 20 people playing card bingo July 28. Larry Blosser was the caller. We have dandy prizes.

Keith and Norine Holtsclaw have new paintings on our easels. Thelma Blosser has shared several examples of art by Pat Lemon of Florence. Pat paints on circular saw blades and cast iron skillets among other objects.

We celebrated National Girlfriends Day with a quiz about song titles using girls' names. We were stumped by "Come Out of the Wheatfield ___ You're Going Against the Grain." Remember that one? The answer is the name "Nellie."

We also read "Reasons Why It's Good to be a Woman."

Come join us Wednesday when Margaret Vinduska will entertain with organ music.
