Sassy Senior Moments

Did you make a New Year's resolution to start eating at Marion Senior Center? If not, there's time to do that and come join us. Besides good food, we have fun with jokes and trivia games. This week we've been trying to "Name that Song," so a lot of humming is involved.
Herb and Joyce Jackson celebrated their anniversary with treats Jan. 3. Their anniversary actually was in December, but weather interfered with their special day.
Thelma Blosser provided treats of orange sherbet for her Wednesday birthday. She wore her own personal birthday hat.
The retired hospital personnel group joined us Wednesday for lunch. They are a lively bunch.
Albert Steele brought two examples of his artwork to put on our easels.
Marion Senior Center hosts the county senior citizens board meeting Friday. We will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
Come join us Jan. 23 for a presentation by Newton Medical Center. There will be bingo Jan. 25.
