CORRESPONDENTS:   Sassy Senior Moments years ago

By JANET BRYANT

Senior center reporter

This week's story is about enchiladas — one of our most popular menu items. One of our regulars always orders two (she gets meals on wheels). She called and said she'd gone to an out-of-town Mexican restaurant, ordered an enchilada, and "there was no way it equaled the senior center ones!" Olé!

Albert Steele brought in one of his art class projects to work on, then placed it on our easel.

On Good Friday, we heard "All I Need to Know About Life I Learned from the Easter Bunny."

Rhonda Brenzikofer began her career as an occasional dining room volunteer this week.

We are in the midst of "Song Hits of the Past Trivia." This group is very good, knowing almost everything.

We welcomed residents of Hilltop Manor March 26. After lunch, Jami Williams provided the program on economic development in Marion with a PowerPoint presentation.

Plan ahead and come in on April 9 when the Red Hat Shady Ladies will bring the program. Wear your red hat and bring a friend who has a red hat. It will be a fun day.
