It has been an exciting week at Marion Senior Center because there have been new people coming in nearly every day. We know we have good food and fun. Others discover these facts for themselves.

Wilma Gilmer changed our Easter table decorations over to spring flowers. It's wonderful to have a volunteer to do that. Shirley Bowers does the decorations on the small table at the entrance.

Jean Everett of Florence has started coming in to help quilt.

We observed April Fool's Day by putting odds and ends of placemats on the tables and adding Halloween decorations. At noon, before we go t up to eat, Theresa Graham rushed out to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, lunch would be half an hour late — April Fool! It was not funny.

Jeanne Byquist, Avon outreach nurse of Salina, gave a program on nutrition and cancer.

Come join us for lunch on Senior Center Day April 16. The program will be given by home-schooled students.
