Sassy Senior Moments

By JANET BRYANT

We finally had a performance Nov. 27 of "Dark Day at the Lucky Strike." In the tradition of the theater we had a last minute cast change; that's how stars are born. Woody Crawshaw was the villain, Dick Dastardly; Fred Puttroff debuted as Lucina Lou; Keith Holtsclaw was Lucinda's mom, Spunky Mother Keely; Leonard Klassen was the hero, Handsome Harry; and Ivanlee Timm stepped in to play Sneaky Sam. Shirley Moore held up signs for the audience to provide sound effects, a task made harder since she had no script to follow. It was great fun.

Evelyn Jewett reported participating in a craft show at Strong City this past weekend, selling some of our craft corner items.

Shirley Bowers and Sue Clough have offered to lead Christmas carol singing after lunch every Tuesday and Friday until Christmas. Come and sing with us.

Join us for lunch Dec. 12 when the program will be provided by a representative of Newton Medical Center.
