Sassy senior moments: Harold Bowers turns 93 years ago

We have enjoyed birthday treats all week. One day there was no birthday and we feared sugar withdrawal symptoms, so we dipped into some candy left over from another day. Ivanlee Timm and Virginia Downing share the same Feb. 18 birthday, so they brought treats Monday and Tuesday. Ice cream was on hand for Harold Bowers' 93rd birthday celebrated Thursday.
Hoodie Hoo day was Monday. It seems people are to go outside at noon and by yelling "hoodie hoo," winter will go away.
The musical program by Herb Jackson has been postponed until March 8. We had an impromptu program Wednesday with Shirley Bowers at the piano, Madonna Schafers as vocalist, and Sue Clough and Herb Jackson joining in on some songs.
Some days it is a complete surprise to me what actually happens at the senior center, in comparison to what I thought was going to happen.
