Sassy Seniors: Come lunch with the cool people

Come on in to a cool place for lunch! Not only are we air conditioned, but our people are themselves "cool."
We keep on having birthdays as well. This week we celebrated with Joyce Kellison, Virginia Bowers, and Kathy Hurst. Kathy was at her apartment, so we called her up and held the phone so she could hear us sing. It made her day, I'm sure.
We played card bingo June 30. Thanks to all who bring prizes. We have a really nice assortment each month.
Shirley Bowers brought a show-and-tell one day. It was a kohlrabi she had grown.
Judi Burkett of St. Luke Hospital gave a presentation on stroke prevention July 5.
Come for lunch on Senior Center Day, July 19. Leonard Klassen will give a program on his recent 25-day trip through Canada and Alaska.
We're looking forward to extra garden produce brought in.
