Sellers, Vaske are married June 10 in Wyoming years ago

Julie Ann Sellers and Philip John Vaske, both of Laramie, Wyo., were married at 3 p.m. June 10, 2006, at Grace Baptist Church, Laramie, Wyo.

Parents of the bride are Robert and Leah Sellers of Florence. The groom's parents are David and Mary Vaske of Laramie, Wyo.

The Rev. Jim Garrett officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Sean Meenan and Julie Sapp, both of Cheyenne, Wyo., provided musical selections.

The bride wore a white A-line gown of Italian satin with an off-the-shoulder illusion scoop neckline and a re-embroidered Alencon lace-over bodice with beading. The gown featured asymmetrical pleating at the waist, button detail down the center back, and a cathedral-length train. The bride's wardrobe was highlighted with a lace-trimmed, elbow-length veil and beaded tiara. She carried a cascading bouquet of yellow sunflowers, cream-colored chrysanthemums, and dusty-blue baby's breath accented with English ivy, a string of pearls, and dusty-blue ribbon.

Brenda Kelly of Milwaukee, Wis., was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister-in-law, Deisy Vaske of Laramie, Wyo., and Donna Teeple of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The bride's attendants wore tea-length gowns of dusty-blue crepe-backed satin with princess waists and cap sleeves. They carried cascading bouquets of yellow sunflowers, cream-colored chrysanthemums, and dusty-blue baby's breath.

The bride's personal attendant was Paula Carroll of Austin, Texas. Nancy Kipper of Laramie, Wyo., was the wedding party attendant.

Maddie Applehans of Laramie, Wyo., was the flower girl.

Brian Menkhaus of Laramie, Wyo., served as best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Craig Vaske, and Jake Hayden, both of Laramie, Wyo.

Guests were seated by Chad Baysinger and Dean Dokter, both of Laramie, Wyo., Tim Weigel of Reno, Nev., and Troy Schimek of Menomonie, Wis.

Dawn Carter of Laramie, Wyo., was in charge of the guest book. The gift attendants were Eric Atkins and Karessa Bailey, both of Casper, Wyo.

The couple hosted a reception, meal, and dance at the Eppson Center in Laramie following the ceremony.

Reception attendants were Stephanie Castle and Carolyn Taylor, both of Laramie, Wyo.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School, Kansas State University, and the University of Wyoming. She is employed as a foreign language training specialist with the Wyoming Department of Education.

Her husband is a graduate of Laramie High School and the University of Wyoming. He is a database analyst for the University of Wyoming.

Following a wedding trip to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, Canada, the couple lives in Laramie, Wyo.
