Shirley Call
Shirley A. Call, 69, of El Dorado, died Dec. 29, 2007.
Born Aug. 20, 1938, at Oil Hill, she was the daughter of Abraham Jackson and Madaline Vice.
She was a cook and manager and owned Crossroads Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Marie Call; brother, Bill Jackson; and parents, Madaline and Red Zahnter.
Survivors include three sons, Bill and Teresa Higgins of Burlington, N.C., Jim Higgins of El Dorado, and Steve Higgins of Alta Vista; daughter, Wilma Williams of El Dorado; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday morning at Carlson Funeral Home.
A memorial fund has been established with Hospice of Kansas.
