Singles group plans outing

The Kansas chapter of Singles in Agriculture will host an event Saturday and Sunday at Goessel during the annual Threshing Days.

A tour, dinner, and dance are planned for Saturday, and a breakfast is planned for Sunday.

Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m., 1 to 2 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the civic center, 101 S. Cedar, Goessel.

The group will attend the parade and morning Threshing Days events. At 2:30 p.m., guests will car pool to Alexanderwohl Church for a tour. A catered meal will be served beginning 6 p.m. at the civic center. A dance will follow at 7 p.m. with the band Deuces Wild.

The group will meet at 8 a.m. Sunday at Charlie's Restaurant, Newell's Truck Stop, Newton.

Guests are welcome to attend all or part of the planned activities.
