Smith, Becker are married Sept. 22 years ago

Krystle Becker and Eric Smith of El Dorado were married Sept. 22, 2007, in the back yard of the Bill and Margaret Pickering home at Marion.

Keith Collett officiated at the five o'clock ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Calvin and Cindy Becker of El Dorado and Neva and Gale Cooper of Marion and the late Don Smith.

The bride's grandparents are Roger and Cheryl Steward of Florence and Helen Becker of Burns. Grandparents of the groom are Bob Smith and Pat Oller, both of Marion, and the late Shirley Smith and the late Robert Oller.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a floor-length strapless ivory gown and carried ivory roses and orchids tied with blue ribbon.

Ashley Pickering of Wichita was the maid of honor. Kimberly Knoll was the bridesmaid. They wore knee-length strapless, blue and ivory floral dresses and carried flowers similar to the bride's.

Joel Versch and Clayton Chamberland, both of Manhattan, were groomsmen.

The bride's cousins, Lindsey and Mace Sigel of Marion were flower girls. Dylan Cooper of Marion, the groom's nephew, was the ring bearer.

Guests were seated by Mitch Enos of Manhattan and Brian Brundage of Wichita.

Alysha O'Dell of Florence and Megan Thomas of Marion were in charge of the guest book and gifts.

A reception was held at Marion Country Club. Reception hosts were the groom's sister, Steffanie Smith of Marion, and Chelsea Corwin and Jodi Braden.

The bride is a CNA at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. Her husband works at Furniture on Consignment, Wichita, and is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.

The couple lives in El Dorado.
