Church service Sunday was brought by the Rev. Larry King. He told the story of Abraham and Sarah from the book of Genesis.

Dominoes and checkers were played Monday morning. In the afternoon we enjoyed Ellen Darrow playing a variety of old time songs on the piano.

Pretty up day was Tuesday. We had coffee hour and visited with the hospital auxiliary in the afternoon. They served a variety of cookies and breads along with coffee and tea.

Wednesday morning was prayer group led by Sue Gutsch. She did a wonderful job conducting the service. In the afternoon Alex Stuchlik on the accordion and Charlene Svitak on the keyboard livened up the atmosphere with beautiful polka and waltz music.

We made delicious banana-oatmeal cookies Friday morning with Sue Gutsch. The afternoon was spent playing bingo with Pat Smith. She always takes a break and reads several "did you know?" questions, such as which state produced the most U.S. Presidents. Answer, Virginia. After games, we had refreshments and she served her delicious zucchini bread.

Saturday morning was coffee and cookie hour. The afternoon was spent watching video movies and enjoying snacks.
