Students named to National Honor Roll
Area students recently were inducted in the 2005-06 National Honor Roll.
They included Gloria Belton, Andrew Carlson, Katherine Carlson, Teaira Chavers, Lance Diepenbrock, Brandy Kaiser, Krista Heiser, Nellie Hill, Alyssa Luna, Sheila Makovec, Brittany Owens, and Selena Seifert, Centre Junior/Senior High School; Cameron Voth, Goessel Junior/Senior High School; Josh Boese and Jennifer Terrell, Hillsboro High School; Misti Richmond and Preston Williams, Marion High School; and Brett Bass, Ashley Elliott, Angela Newfield, Christina Newfield, Hannah Redger, Stephanie Vetter, Matt Weaver, Oliver Whitney, and Rachel Womack, Peabody-Burns Junior/Senior High School.
Students qualified for the recognition after submitting information about grade point average, interests, activities, and goals.
Padgham attends conference
Among those attending the Kansas Reading Association annual Summer Leadership Training July 11-12 in Hesston was Shari Padgham of Marion, parents and reading committee chairman of the Sunflower Reading Council.
WSU names honor students
