Students of the month recognized at MHS

Marion High School students Jordan Timm and Rachel Davidson have been named students of the month.

Rachel, who is involved in community activities such as 4-H, CYO, and playing the organ at her church, stays busy with her daily school activities.

She has been involved in numerous activities all four years at MHS which include forensics, scholars' bowl, musicals, plays, Key Club, choir, piano contest, vocal contest, and youth court.

As busy as her schedule is, she has found time for other activities some years such as debate, NHS, MHS Singers, jazz band, track, StuCo, district choir, model U.N., creative writing, math team, and state choir.

Rachel has one older sister Sarah, and is the daughter of Greg and Rose Davidson of Marion.

Jordan has been busy as well, taking part in activities both in and out of school.

Outside of school, Jordan attends Marion Christian Church and was a member of the choir for one year.

At school the junior has been involved in clubs and organizations from one to all three years.

Since his freshman year Jordan has participated in FEA, choir, forensics, and the school musical. Other activities include band, FBLA treasurer, MHS Singers, district honor choir, all-state honor choir, creative writing, NHS, school melodramas, youth court attorney, youth team, cross country, and vocal constests.

Jordan has three siblings, Jessica, Josh, and Jayne. He is the son of Teri Powell, Larry and Kristal Timm, and Chris and Janet Killough.
