Success in working together

Wow! What great things happen when people work together!
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a caring, faith-based, fraternal organization that shows care for its members by offering funds to conduct activities to benefit the church and community. These activities only can happen, and succeed, when people join together and work for them.
The benefit for the thermal imaging camera for Marion Fire Department was such an activity. Volunteers spent many hours of planning and working to make this a huge success. The response to requests for pies, breads, and supplies was awesome.
The number of people who came to support the soup supper and bake sale showed that this indeed was a worthwhile project and the camera would be a benefit to the community as a safety tool for our volunteer firefighters.
Thrivent is proud to be a part of and support these local efforts. We give a big thank you to all volunteers, Thrivent members, and the community who helped with this benefit.
