Suspect flees deputy, woman arrested in Florence
Chase County resident Charles Horsch is being sought by local authorities after fleeing from Marion County Sheriff Sergeant Jeff Soyez.
Soyez responded at 5:47 a.m. Monday to a report of two people arguing in a motel parking lot in Florence.
When Soyez arrived he found a vehicle with Horsch and a female subject. Horsch was removed from the vehicle and "patted down" by the officer.
The subject escaped from custody and remains at large.
The female subject, Anne Talkington, also a Chase County resident, was arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Florence Police Officers assisted in the search.
