T. Cole, S. Post are married Oct. 1 in outdoor ceremony

Tara Cole and Seth Post, both of Manhattan, were married Oct. 1, 2005, in an outdoor wedding ceremony at the home of his parents, Pat and Janet Post of Burns.

The bride's parents are Randy and Debbie Swedberg of Kingman.

Judge Gene White of El Dorado officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride walked down the aisle to John Denver's "My Sweet Lady."

Doug Stone's "I Never Knew Love" played while the couple lighted the unity candle.

She was escorted by her brothers, Adam Cole and Shawn Schouten of Kingman.

She wore a white beaded satin strapless A-line gown with a gathered tucked ruffled satin skirt with pearl beaded accents at the tucks. She wore a two-layer veil of white tulle accented with white piping edges and a white jeweled tiara with matching earrings.

She carried a bouquet of white roses and light blue hydrangeas accented with white pearls and greenery tied with white satin ribbon.

Christie Price of Wichita was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Messenger of Plano, Texas, Julie Oeding of Potwin, the groom's sister, Jandee Nave of Shawnee, Betsy Schaffer and Heather Luken, both of Manhattan, and Diana Cole of Kingman.

They wore knee-length black strapless dresses with black satin ribbon accents at the empire waist. They carried bouquets of white roses, light blue hydrangeas, and greenery tied with white satin ribbon and a black ribbon accent.

Ryan Mountain of Ellinwood served as best man. Groomsmen were Andy Jacobs of Wichita, Travis Clary of Robinson, Matt Strausz of Lawrence, Dustin Krehbiel of Moundridge, Keith Pearl of Overland Park, and Brett Sump of Manhattan.

Jade Mountain of Ellinwood was the flower girl. Ring bearers were the bride's nephews, Logan and Devin Schouten of Kingman.

Guests were seated by Karl Kasselman, Ryan Schwerman, and Tyler Stucky, all of Manhattan, Justin Schmidt of Olathe, Troy Pearl of St. Mary's, and Clint Graber of San Diego, Calif.

Amanda Clary of Robinson was the guest book attendant. Michelle Bean of St. John and Jessica Oeding of Wichita distributed programs.

Kay Mullinex of Kingman was the decorations coordinator. Kris Dameron of Peabody was in charge of flowers.

A reception and dance was held following the ceremony. The meal was catered by the bride's mother, Debbie Swedberg.

The bride is a graduate of Kingman High School and Kansas State University. She currently is a manager at Hollisters in Manhattan.

Her husband is a graduate of Peabody-Burns High School and will graduate in May from Kansas State University. He is employed by J.B. Pearl's in St. Mary's.

Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple lives in Manhattan.
