Tabor student s death ruled natural by Marion Co. Sheriff
It has been determined an 18-year-old Tabor College student found dead in his dorm room had died of natural causes.
Mason Wedel, 18, was found dead Oct. 8, when he missed a soccer game that day.
According to college officials, the Buhler freshman had died in his sleep during the early morning hours.
Preliminary investigations did not indicate any obvious reasons for the death.
Marion County Sheriff Lee Becker verified Thursday that Wedel had died of natural causes and all other causes were ruled out.
