Tajchman, Salomoni wedding

Alesha Tajchman and Martin Salomoni of Salt Lake City, Utah, were united in marriage Aug. 14, 2004, during an outdoor ceremony at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Fla. The Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiated during the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Charles and Kay Tajchman of Marion. Parents of the groom are Augusta Flores de Salomoni of Asuncion, Paraguay, and the late Gabriel Antonio Salomoni Lebron.

The original location for the wedding was planned on the beach at the Harrington House Bed and Breakfast in Holmes Beach, Fla. However, due to the arrival of Hurricane Charley the wedding party had to evacuate the area.

The wedding was witnessed by the couple's families. Standing up for the bride during the ceremony were Heath, Heather, Amy, and Kari Tajchman and her parents. Standing up for the groom was Rafael and Monica Salomoni and their children, Juan Pablo, Alejandra, Alexia, Rafael, Fabricio, and the groom's mother, Augusta Salomoni.

A reception dance followed the ceremony at Mangroves Restaurant.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Universal Studios and St. Petersburg, Fla. They are at home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The bride is the lead recruiter at ARUP Blood Services in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The groom is the lead medical technologist at ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A reception is planned Jan. 2 at St. Mark's Activity Center in Marion to honor the couple.
