Helping Nikki Stenzel celebrate her 18th birthday Dec. 26 at the mall in Manhattan were Frank and Anna Mae Stika, Lori Moldenhauer, and Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna. They enjoyed dinner and supper out and a movie.
Adeline Bernhardt spent Dec. 24-27 with Carl and Kathy Hubbard of Wellington. They, along with Donna Hubbard, attended Christmas Eve service at Calvary Lutheran Church. Additional Christmas Day guests were Mitch and Jennifer Rusk, Kelsey and Chandler of Edmond, Okla., Paul and Diane Ring of Belton, Texas, Chris and Dee Anna Stout and Gabrielle, and Clint Hubbard of Wellington. Adeline went to the home of Barney and Linda Bernhardt and Megan in Wichita. Additional supper guests were John and Debra Haynes, Hailee and Heather and Josh Miller of Wichita. Gift exchanges were enjoyed at both places.
Susan and Julie Rziha and Bermet Zhumakadyr kyzy went to Topeka Friday morning and accompanied Diane Herron and John to Independence, where they attended the rehearsal Friday evening and the wedding Saturday of Kathy Denney and Jim Seitz. Diane was a bridesmaid, and Susie and Julie sang.

On Christmas Eve Tom and Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki, Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna, and Frank and Anna Mae Stika attended the Christmas program at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Herington, followed by supper and a gift exchange at the Stika home.
Two corrections to recent news items are necessary, probably because your correspondent had to submit her copy in longhand, providing much opportunity for error. Just call it another casualty of the power failure. The following item was omitted: Andrea Klenda and Leona Kleiber were overnight guests of Lynn and Peggy Kleiber and Nicholas of Salina Dec. 14. On Friday evening, Lynn and Peggy took them to the Moscow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker at the Stiefel Theater as an early Christmas gift. All enjoyed lunch out on Saturday.
