Irene Beames of Ramona visited Anna Mae Stika Wednesday morning.
Adeline Bernhardt went to Golden Living Center in Marion Tuesday afternoon to meet with nine members of the Red Hat Society for story time and refreshments.
Georgia Spohn met her cousin, Lenora Graham of Florence, in Hillsboro Monday morning for the Learning in Retirement program at Tabor College and dinner out. Linda Ogden and Mary Beth Bowers brought a program on the problem of underage drinking.
Andrea Kleiber and Dale Klenda visited Andrea's grandmother, Leona Kleiber, Sunday afternoon.
Paul and Edna Backhus were guests of Earl and Doris Stubby of Newton for dinner out in Abilene Sunday.
Leona Kleiber accompanied Terry and Cindy Vinduska of Marion to Salina Saturday evening. They attended a confirmation service at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, where Nicholas Kleiber was confirmed. Others at the confirmation included Lynn and Peggy Kleiber of Salina, Tim and Amanda Baxa of Manhattan, Andrea Kleiber and Dale Klenda of Pilsen, and Mary Schulte and Matt of Stratton, Colo. After the service all attended a reception in the parish hall in honor of the 57 confirmants.
The funeral service for Florentina Meyer was held Friday morning at Saint John's Lutheran Church with a number of relatives from out of town and many local people attending. She was a resident of the Tampa community for many years, and her family has the sympathy of the community.
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League met April 11 in the church basement. Kathy Davis, Joyce Medley, and Cindy Bentz acted as hostesses. Kathy led the topic, and Joyce had opening and closing devotions. Others present were Leona Kleiber, Adeline Bernhardt, Janet Bielefeld, Michele Berens, Edna Backhus, Phyllis Mueller, and Edna Mueller.

Sunflower Senior Citizens met Tuesday at the senior center with the Ramona senior citizens as guests. Tom and Dee Duggan were hosts. Following a potluck dinner, Jona Baltzer gave a musical program. Others present were Mary Baltzer, Reign and Marlene Anduss, Walt and Iona Dietrich, Steve and Myrna Eskelson, Al and Darlene Sondergard, Linda Ihde, Edna Mueller, Lois Sklenar, Adeline Bernhardt, Jim and Mary Clemmer, Helen Costello, Bonnie Crandall, Tillie Hein, Margaret Jirak, Leona Kleiber, Martha Melcher, Frank Patton, Carole Spohn, and Shirley Zaideman.
Georgia Spohn met her cousin, Lenora Graham of Florence in Hillsboro Monday morning. They attended the Learning in Retirement program at Tabor College, where Dr. Layne Reusser lectured on heart health. After the program, they enjoyed dinner out in Marion.
Tom and Dee Duggan attended a soccer game Monday evening in Herington. Their granddaughter, Kaylee Hall played.
Reuben and Lucille Kerbs were Easter guests of Tim and Marchelle Kerbs in Salina. Other guests were Molly Kerbs of Hays, April Kerbs and Mark Reidy, Cierra and Josh of Salina. They enjoyed an egg hunt and helped Tim celebrate his birthday.
Easter dinner guests of Paul and Edna Backhus were Bev and Tom Reid of Marion, Mike and Jennifer Jay and Kelsie Penner of Hillsboro, Don and Ophelia Jacobson and Greg Jacobson of Hope. Ron and Jody Heath, Danielle and Tyler of Salina, Phyllis Mueller, Rod Mueller, Brad Backhus, Jason Backhus, John and Wanda Lewis, Paul, Sarah, and Luke of Goddard joined them in the afternoon for an Easter egg hunt. The group also helped Bev celebrate her birthday.
Easter guests of Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna were Frank and Anna Mae Stika and Tom and Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki.
Terry and Cindy Vinduska were hosts for a family Easter dinner at their home in Marion. Guests were Ron and Tammi Vinduska and Kristi of Topeka, Lynn and Peggy Kleiber and Nicholas of Salina, Tim Baxa of Manhattan, Dean and Becky Routh, Allison, Melody, and Danielle of Augusta, Andrea Kleiber, Dale Klenda, and Leona Kleiber. An egg hunt was enjoyed.
Easter dinner guests of Gary and Carole Spohn were Steve Spohn and Sheri Kersh of Hope, Ryan Spohn of Manhattan, Angela Meyers of Wamego, and Georgia Spohn.
Jesse and Ashton Smith of Pilsen and Russ and Julie Kerbs and Rustyn were after-church visitors of Reuben and Lucille Kerbs Easter morning.
Greg Sklenar was a weekend guest of his mother, Lois Sklenar. Valerie Hampton of Hillsboro joined them on Sunday.
Tillie Hein was a Saturday overnight and Sunday guest of Pam and Bill Fillmore of Cottonwood Falls. Additional Easter dinner guests were Ron and Dolores Scott of Emporia.
Adeline Bernhardt spent Thursday to Monday with Carl and Kathy Hubbard and Clint of Wellington. Additional Easter dinner guests were Jennifer Rusk and Chandler of Edmond, Okla., Donna Hubbard and Andrea King of Wellington.
