Tampa welcomes a new resident. Jessika Jeanne Florey was born Nov. 28 to Phil and Melissa Florey. She weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and measured 20 inches. Grandparents are Jesse and Rita Brunner and Wanda Florey. Great-grandparents are George Brunner and Margaret Jirak.
Jim and Mary Clemmer have received word of the death of Mary's brother, Loy Daily of Wichita on Wednesday.
Prairie Pals met Tuesday evening at the home of Mary Clemmer with Jeanne Rziha assisting her as hostess. Jeanne presented an informative program on sleep deprivation. Others present were Shirley Zaideman, Laveta Meyer, Michele Berens, Virginia Bentz, Iona Dietrich, and Jane Vajnar.
Gary and Carole Spohn and Georgia Spohn attended the funeral service for Gertrude Piper Monday morning in Abilene.
Frank and Anna Mae Stika, Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki, and Lisa Hanschu and Anna spent Thanksgiving Day with Chris and Tisha Bielefeld, Megan and Seth of Solomon. Other guests included Brian Sader, Brylee and Trevin and a friend and Lyle and Julie Sader of Salina, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Sader and daughter of Roxbury, and Ruth Riggin of Burdick.
Lucille Kerbs visited Connie Thompson, Allison and Taylor in Abilene Saturday. They enjoyed dinner out.
Saturday supper guests of Phyllis Mueller and Rod Mueller and their weekend guests, Ron and Jody Heath, Dani and Tyler of Salina were Mike and Shelia Mueller and Saige of Laramie, Wyo., and Elda Ebel of Hillsboro.
Tony Young of Goessel was a Friday visitor of Lois Sklenar.
Frank and Anna Mae Stika, Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki, and Lisa Hanschu and Anna went Friday to Salina to see a movie.
Thanksgiving weekend guests of Jim and Kris Srajer, Grant and Cole were Ted and Maxine Zielinski and Tim and Sue Zielinski and sons of Omaha, Neb. Tillie Hein was an additional Thanksgiving Day guest.
Ryan Spohn, Adam and Lauren were Thanksgiving weekend guests of Gary and Carole Spohn. Additional Thanksgiving Day guests were Steve Spohn and Sheri Kersh of Hope and Georgia Spohn. They had an early celebration of Adam's sixth birthday.

Additional Thanksgiving Day guests were Bob and Nancy Rziha of Great Bend and Adam Rziha of Phoenix, Ariz.
Reuben and Lucille Kerbs and Russ and Julie Kerbs and Rustyn spent Thanksgiving day with Tim and Marchelle Kerbs, April and Molly of Salina. Other guests included Glenn and Eloise Kerbs of Dodge City, Reuben and Cristy Kerbs of Wichita, Doug and Connie Thompson, Allison and Taylor of Abilene, and Jesse and Ashton Smith of Lincolnville. Clayton and Leah Kerbs of Topeka were unable to attend.
Greg Sklenar of Wichita was a Thanksgiving Day and overnight guest of his mother, Lois Sklenar. Valerie Hampton joined them on Thanksgiving Day.

Adeline Bernhardt and Leona Kleiber accompanied Terry and Cindy Vinduska to Augusta Thanksgiving Day for a family dinner at the home of Dean and Becky Routh, Melody, Allison, and Danielle. Other guests were Lynn and Peggy Kleiber and Nicholas.
Father Paul Oborny of Wichita spent Wednesday through Friday with John and Kathy Oborny and Diane Steiner. Additional Thanksgiving Day guests were Dan and Kim Oborny, Ethan and Logan, Mike and Sharon Benda and Jane Vajnar. Father Oborny spent part of Thanksgiving Day with George and Kathleen Oborny and their family.
Jim and Kris Srajer, Grant and Cole were Nov. 19 dinner guests of Tillie Hein in celebration of Jim's birthday.
