Ted Landis
Ted Landis, 71, died Jan. 7, 2005, at Wichita.
Born Feb. 6, 1933, at Wichita, he was the son of Lester and Elizabeth (Lavin) Landis.
On April 15, 1966, he married June Williams in Wichita.
He owned and operated a shoe store.
Survivors include his wife, June of Marion; three sons, Kevin Landis and David Emmrich, both of Wichita and Cal Adams of Denton, Texas; four daughters, Kathy Landis of Jet, Okla., Candy Smith of Marion, Holly Doherty of Wichita, and Karen Schimmells of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Tim Landis of Wichita; a sister, Carol Stewart of Adrian, Mich.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
A memorial fund has been established with Wichita Women's Crisis Center.
