Thank you volunteers
To the Editor:
I would like to express my appreciation to the volunteers who help make Meals on Wheels possible in Marion and the surrounding area. I was blessed with the opportunity to help deliver Meals on Wheels as part of National Nutrition Week. There are individuals in this community who volunteer their time and energy every day to ensure that certain people get a warm lunch from the senior center. This is an awesome program and Marion is very fortunate to have the staff and volunteers in place to accomplish this. A special thanks to Darrell Weigart for being my driver and teaching me how the process works. A special thanks to Janet Bryant for giving me the opportunity. And thanks to all the volunteers who help make this happen.
