Thompson, Meredith wed in Missouri church

Melisha Marie Thompson and Ryan James Meredith were married at 7:30 p.m. May 28 at Hannon Free Will Baptist Church, Liberal, Mo.

Parents of the couple are Brent and Cindi Thompson and Ross and Claire Meredith. The groom is the grandson of Jim and Donna Fruechting of Marion.

Mark Lehman officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by Jessica Garrin on the hammered dulcimer and Caleb Guernsey on guitar.

Tapers were lighted by Sara Adam, Kayla Dingman, Alicia Bunch, and Ashley Montee.

Jennifer Page was her sister's maid of honor. The groom's sister, Ashley Meredith, was the bridesmaid.

Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Alyx and Madison Page.

Gavin Page, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Caleb Guernsey served as best man. Matt Plunkett was groomsman.

Guests were seated by Aaron Thompson, John Page, Jason Thompson, and Caleb Simpson.

A reception was held in a tent outside the church. Assistants were Sue Enns, Pat Chamberland, Lynn Thorman, Janet Smith, Leah Nell, and Boni Thompson.

The bride is a graduate of Pittsburg State University and is employed with Pittsburg Interiors in advertising and sales.

Her husband attends Pittsburg State University and plays football for the PSU Gorillas. He is pursuing a degree in business management.

Following a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple lives in Pittsburg.
