Thousands flock to
Art in the Park
Art in the Park drew thousands of people Saturday to Central Park, Marion.
Although there were fewer vendors than in recent years, enthusiastic shoppers flocked to the park to sample, touch, and purchase a variety of products.
Local organizations, churches, and retailers provided food in the food court.
The uncertain weather may have kept some away but after a shower Friday night, the Saturday frenzy started cool and by afternoon temperatures were in the 90s.
