Three Centre FFA members slated for district offices

Three members of the Centre FFA chapter were interviewed March 7 at Inman and became candidates for district offices. Kristine Jirak is running for president, Nellie Hill for secretary, and Gloria Belton for reporter. They will give speeches to delegates April 28 at the district banquet, after which results will be announced.

Jackie Klenda participated in a "growth" interview in preparation for running for a state FFA office in June.

At district selection days March 6 in Wellington, district proficiency awards were given to Steven Hageberg in ag processing and Jackie Klenda in diversified livestock production. They will compete at the state level March 18.

Gloria Belton and Steven Hageberg were approved to receive state FFA degrees. They will be honored at the district banquet in April.
