Tillie Stika
Tillie Marie Stika, 90, died March 13, 2008, at Sedgwick Health Care, Sedgwick.
Born March 15, 1917, at Lincolnville, she was the daughter of Louis and Mary (Moravec) Kroupa. She grew up on a farm northwest of Lincolnville and attended country school near Lincolnville.
On May 26, 1941, she married Louis C. Stika Sr., at Pilsen.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Pilsen, and the altar society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; daughter, Rose Marie Hayen; son, Ernest; sister, Albina Kroupa; brother, Joseph Kroupa; and her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Augustine of Hesston; daughter, Arlene Stika; and a grandson.
The funeral was Tuesday morning at Holy Family Parish, St. John Nep. Church, Pilsen, with Fr. Mark Wesely as celebrant. A rosary preceded the Mass.
Burial was in Pilsen Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Pilsen Community Center or Fr. Kapaun Guild, both in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
