Toy Run is Nov. 6
The 11th annual Marion County Toy Run will begin at 1 p.m. Nov. 6 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion and end at Emprise Bank, Hillsboro.
A chili feed and auction will follow at Hillsboro American Legion.
Businesses and individuals are asked to donate items which will be auctioned off after the toy run. Monetary donations also are accepted.
Proceeds from the auction are donated to Marion County Ministerial Alliance who uses the money to provide underprivileged kids and their families a better holiday season.
Participants in the run are asked to donate one new toy as an entry fee. These toys also are donated to needy children for the Christmas holiday.
