U.S.-77 is open years ago
U.S.-77 officially opened at 6:52 p.m. Monday when the barricades were moved, said Doug Lind, Kansas Department of Transportation project manager.
The U.S-77 leg of the roundabout at Florence is open, said Lind, but the U.S.-50 portion is not. He anticipates it being completed by Sept. 1. The general contractor has until Sept. 29 to complete the project.
