LETTERS: Under new management years ago

As you know Banner Health has been operating St. Luke Hospital, St. Luke Living Center, and Marion County Home Care under a lease agreement with Marion County Hospital District Number 1. Banner has decided not to renew this lease. Effective Oct. 1, the hospital district will reassume operational responsibilities of the hospital, living center, and home health.
The hospital district will maintain the current skilled caring staff that St. Luke has offered over the years. The services that currently are offered will continue to be offered in the future. With local control of the hospital, the hospital district will have the capabilities of adding additional services in the future.
Banner has decided to retain control of all accounts receivable with balances for services incurred prior to Oct. 1. What this means to you is that Banner will be sending billing notices starting Oct. 1 for services performed at St. Luke prior to Oct. 1. All payments and correspondence for claims prior to Oct. 1 should be sent to: PO Box 9030, Fargo ND 58106.
Let me assure that if you have any questions or concerns, the staff at St. Luke Hospital will take every effort to answer questions and alleviate concerns.
