USD 408 hires two employees years ago
After a special meeting April 30 the Marion-Florence USD 408 board of education hired two new employees for the upcoming school year.
Rebecca Pederson of Cimarron and a Tabor College graduate, was hired to teach fourth grade at Marion Elementary School.
The board also approved the contract of Rachel Kostner of Peabody as full-time aquatics director at the Marion sports and wellness complex.
Kostner will begin her job sometime in May, and Pederson will begin teaching in the fall .
