Veona Popp
Veona L. Popp, 79, died Sept. 17, 2005, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Aug. 22, 1926, at Lost Springs, she was the daughter of William and Minnie (Fritsch) Wangerin.
On Jan. 15, 1950, she married William B. Popp at Marion. He died in 1993.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Durham State Bank and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro.
She is survived by nephews, Warren and Norman Winters of Hillsboro.
A memorial service was held Tuesday morning at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Brett Huebner officiating.
Burial was in Durham Park Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
