Versch to volunteer on nursing mission to Mexico
Sarah Versch of Marion is among seven Southwestern College Association of Nursing Students who will travel March 18-25 to Mexico.
On this mission trip to Matamoras, students will volunteer with medical teams from the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church and provide nursing and health care to indigent or chronically ill street people and children.
They also will learn about the Mexican culture to become more competent in assisting Hispanic people in their nursing careers.
Versch is the daughter of Jim and Judy Versch of Marion, and a 2001 graduate of Marion High School.
