Viola Stinson

Viola "Dusty" Stinson, 54, of Strong City, died Jan. 9, 2005, at Council Grove.

Born May 27, 1950, at Burwin, Neb., she was the daughter of Heasle and Leona (Hickey) Wheeler.

On May 21, 1983, she married Ken Stinson at Greeley, Colo.

She worked as a nurse's aide, truck driver, and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wheeler.

Survivors include her husband, Ken of Strong City; two sons, Virgil Littrel of Paris, Texas, and David Stinson of Emporia; a daughter, Donnelle Green of Columbus, Mo.; two brothers, George Wheeler of Overton, Neb., and Don Coach of North Platte, Neb.; two sisters, Irene Hendershot of Spokane, Wash., and Twana Phillips of Marion; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, with Pastor Larry Timm officiating.

Burial will be in Claney Cemetery, rural Marion.

A memorial fund has been established to help with funeral expenses.
