Wanda Fischer
Wanda F. Fischer, 81, of Herington, died Feb. 3, 2007, at Salina Regional Health Center.
Born July 27, 1925, at Diamond Springs, she was the daughter of Guy and Ona Mae (Traner) Miser.
On Aug. 31, 1946, she married Wilbert E. "Bert" Fischer at Lyons Creek. He died in 1994.
She also was preceded in death by her twin brother, Wayne Miser; and her parents.
Survivors include a son, Willard Fischer of Herington.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, with the Rev. Lorenzo Jackson officiating.
A private burial will be at a later date at Diamond Springs Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University, Manhattan.
