Wanda Gillett
Wanda K. Gillett, 61, of Salina, died May 21, 2006.
Born July 8, 1944, at Palmer, she was the daughter of Hubert and Hulda (Killman) Tiemeyer.
On June 24, 1975, she married James E. "Gene" Gillett at Salina. He died in 1985.
She worked for Raytheon Aircraft Company in Salina as a blueprint control specialist since 1968.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Gillett of Salina and Kyle Gillett of Overland Park; two stepsons, James R. Gillett of Lost Springs and Robert Gillett of Marion; three brothers, Kenny Tiemeyer of Columbus, Neb., Roland Tiemeyer and Ronnie Tiemeyer, both of Palmer; four sisters, Ruby Fox of Salina, Ruth Jones of Linn, Mary Griffith of Clay Center, and Marcella Bechard of Clifton; a grandson; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday (today) at Woodbine United Methodist Church. Burial was in Woodbine Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to the Jackson Reese Gillett Education Fund.
