Ward, Bina engagement announced
Jodi Ward and Byron Bina announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Parents of the couple are David Ward of Clayton, Laura and Dennis Gilhousen of Norton, and Robert and Jeanette Bina of Lincolnville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Norton Community High School and received a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She currently is a carpenter at Norton.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Centre High School and received a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University. He is employed as a soil conservationist at Hill City for the Kansas Conservation Commission. He also is the owner of Bina Auction Service.
A private wedding ceremony will take place Sept. 1 at the United Methodist church at Clayton. A reception, dinner, and dance will follow at the Eagles Lodge. A second reception and dinner will be Sept. 15 at the Catholic hall, Pilsen.
