Warrior Boosters plan after prom party
Marion Warrior Booster Club met Feb. 9 and March 2 at Gambino's to begin planning the After Prom Party. This year's prom is April 16.
Plans are underway to bus students to Immanuel Baptist Church Life Center in Wichita where they will be able to swim, bowl, skate, play racquet ball, use the jogging track, fitness room, and game room.
A Hawaiian theme will be used for decorations and food. A stop for a breakfast buffet is planned for the trip home.
Committees were set for the function. They are:
— Bus activities — Verna Ploutz and Diane Sams, co-chairmen.
— Fund-raising — Sally Hannaford, chairman.
— Food committee — Verna Ploutz, chairman.
Registration committee — Danette Eis and Shawn Geis, co-chairman.
Anyone interested in helping should contact any of the chairmen or booster club officers, Dana Wear, Sharon Zogelman, Hannaford, or Sams.
The next meeting will be at 5 p.m. March 30 at Gambino's.
