Warrior golf: Golfers struggle at Wichita
The Marion High School golf team finished 13th out of 14 teams Friday at the Wichita Collegiate Invitational.
Luke Gordon was the top golfer for the Warriors on the day, finishing with an 86.
Jake Bredemeier and Keith Jones checked in with an 88, and Landon Leiker shot 106.
Head coach Rex Ostmeyer said his team will get back on track soon.
"The conditions were tough, but we did not play nearly as well as we are capable," he said. "We need to use this meet as a learning experience for the future."
The Warriors were at Bennington Tuesday, and will travel Friday to Saline for the Sacred Heart Invitational.
