Where are they now: Bill Griffith

As the running back of a state runner-up football team in 1994, Marion High School grad Bill Griffith won't soon be forgotten.

Griffith still resides in Kansas, and has been a football coach at the high school or junior college level since 2000. Most recently, he accepted the job as running backs and tight ends coach at Hutchinson Community College.

Other coaching stops for Griffith were Northern Heights High, Marion High School, and Fort Scott Community College. In 2006 the Greyhounds ended a 24-game losing streak by finishing 7-5 and earning an invitation to the Heart of Texas Bowl game.

Currently Griffith, who played football and threw the javelin at Emporia State University, is working on his master's in sports administration at ESU. He received a bachelor's degree in communications from ESU in 2000.
