William Parker
William Orrin Parker, 78, died June 10, 2004, in Vancouver, Wash. He was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Marion.
A signal supervisor for Southern Pacific Railroad for 41 years, he was a resident of Clark County, Wash. He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jane, of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Vicki Beiser of Gladstone, Ore.; three sons, William Kenneth Parker of Eugene, Ore., John Richard Parker of Portland, Ore., and Robert Jeffrey Parker of Spokane, Wash.; and 10 grandchildren.
Burial was in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore., with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established with Hospice Southwest.
