Winter homecoming is Friday at Centre High

A coronation ceremony is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday at Centre High School to crown the winter homecoming king and queen.

Queen candidates are: Katie Carlson, daughter of Glenn and Sandy Carlson, Burdick: Krista Heiser, daughter of Mark and Kathy Heiser, Tampa; and Jackie Klenda, daughter of Val and Julie Klenda, Lincolnville.

King candidates are: Drew Donahue, son of Tim and Lisa Donahue; Bryant Gutsch, son of Scott and Sharon Gutsch; and Brent Potocnik, son of Paul and Kristi Potocnik, all of Lincolnville.

Theme for the festivities is "Must be Doing Something Right." Colors are green and silver. Complete Music of Manhattan will be the disc jockey for the homecoming dance following basketball games against Herington.

A junior varsity girls' basketball game beginning at 5 p.m. will precede the ceremony.

Following coronation, the junior varsity boys will play in the north gym. The varsity girls will play in the main gym, followed by the boys' varsity.
