Wrestlers compete at state

Marion Junior Warrior Wrestling Club sent six wrestlers Saturday to the state tournament in Topeka. It was the most ever for the club, and three of the wrestlers earned plaques by placing in the top six. They were Colton Jeffrey, 12-and-under 60 pounds, fifth place; Kyle Palic, 10-and-under 110 pounds, second place; and Dillon Wildin, 14-and-under 130 pounds, sixth place. After going 3-1 and taking second place, Palic now has qualified for nationals this weekend in Iowa. Other junior Warriors participating at the state tournament were Colton Johnson, Zac Lewman, and Remington Putter.
