In reply to the small son who received the liver transplant, the lifetime residents and the newer residents have been donating without the donation buckets.

Yes, it is time for the Your Turn column to discontinue. My initial response was to believe this would be an opportunity for us to appreciate our good fortune in being able to live here. But sadly, it has become an opportunity for guerrilla tactics. Instead of pointing a finger, perhaps offering a helping hand might be more productive.
